The Spartanburg Soup Kitchen is dedicated to serving the lives of all people in our community. We've been feeding Spartanburg for over 40 years. OPEN EVERY DAY: 7:30am-2pm

Donations of food and goods can be dropped off at the Spartanburg Soup Kitchen any day of the week from 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM. Arrangements can be made for volunteers to pick up large quantities of items by contacting our Director, Lou Sartor at 864-585-0022 or e-mail at: [email protected]

The Spartanburg Soup Kitchen is an inter-denominational, inter-faith ministry, made up of a partnership of various individuals and organizations across the Upstate. We share a common belief that when we serve those in need, we serve God.

The Spartanburg Soup Kitchen is dependent on our volunteers…We couldn’t do it without them. We have more than 600 dedicated community volunteers that help weekly, monthly, or bi-monthly. These people are school groups, church groups, and local business volunteers.

What is The Spartanburg Soup Kitchen? We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit entity focused on ministering to the less fortunate in our community by providing food and social services. We are open at lunchtime 365 days a year; and serve between 350 and 500 guests per day.
