A bulbous shaped Moorcroft pottery vase in the Anemone pattern with a Flambe glaze. The main body is in a deep red colour with flashes of bright yellow and green decorating the flowers. The pattern was created by Walter Moorcroft and dates circa 1945.

A Large Moorcroft flambe glazed Anemone pattern vase.c.1950. Signed Walter Moorcroft to the base. Bulbous shaped to a narrow neck. Fully decorated to the surround. Measures 8" diameter x 7"high. Stock no.36325.

Measures: 7 inches high x 5 1/4 inches wide. Marked on bottom: Impressed Moorcroft, Made in England with Walter’s initial signature in blue. Excellent condition. No chips, cracks or repairs. Slight minor scratch on glaze. Normal crazing.

A fabulous vase dating to c1953-78 with the original label ‘Potters to the late Queen Mary’. The vase is in good condition with the only visible crazing being to the base.
