Oct 15, 2024 · HONOLULU — The University of Hawaii decided to leave the Big West Conference to become a full member of the Mountain West starting on July 1, 2026, unifying its football program with most of its non-football sports, Athletic Director Craig Angelos told Spectrum News on Monday night, confirming earlier reports.
