Subway announced the return of popular footlong cookies with the release of an Oreo-inspired footlong, released Thursday.

The launch builds on the success of the Footlong Chocolate Chip Cookie, which has sold 13 million units in the US.

SHELTON, CONN. — Subway has partnered with Mondelez International to launch Oreo Footlong cookies. Inspired by sandwich cookies, the menu items are formulated with Subway’s chocolate cookie dough and Oreo cookies pieces and are topped with vanilla cream and more Oreo cookie pieces.
