Seven-times Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton had his first outing on the track for Ferrari on a misty Wednesday morning at Maranello, realising his dream of driving in the iconic red of the Italian team.

Ferrari’s rollout of Lewis Hamilton as a driver for their Formula 1 team continues. Earlier this week the team shared images of Hamilton’s first day on the job, as he met with senior leadership at the team’s factory.

Hamilton turned his first laps for Scuderia Ferrari F1 team in a test session alongside new teammate Charles Leclerc on a damp Fiorano track at foggy Maranello, Italy, on Wednesday. It was the first on-track action for the team in 2025.
