CHICAGO (CBS) – A 14-year-old boy was arrested on Monday in connection with the fatal shooting of a 25-year-old man back in July. Police said the teenager was identified as the person who allegedly shot and killed the man before attempting to take his car in the 5400 block of South Wells Street shortly before 8 a.m. on July 14.

A man accused of wounding two Chicago police officers in an ambush in Back of the Yards, then eluding law enforcement for more than seven years, was ordered held at a hearing Saturday, police said.

Chicago police are investigating what appears to have been a road rage incident that led to a shooting in Canaryville on the South Side Saturday night. Police said it happened shortly after 5 p.m. near 47th and Wallace Streets.

Police said, around 8:40 p.m., officers responded to a shooting near 38th and Ellis, and found the victim with multiple gunshot wounds to the chest.
