The Boston Celtics had a banner night at TD Garden on Tuesday, and that goes beyond the team’s record-tying 132-109 win over the New York Knicks. It was literally “Banner Night,” as the team celebrated the record 18th NBA championship it won earlier this year.

As a network, TNT has largely been celebrated for its NBA coverage over the years, namely due to the massive success of its "Inside the NBA" pregame and postgame program. However, things took a hard right turn when TNT lost its right to broadcast games via the bidding process earlier this year.
