SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — In December 1968, the Federal Highway Administration approved Interstate 15 to be extended south of Interstate 10 from San Bernardino to Interstate 8 in San Diego.
The group was spotted leaving the building, and then jumping a fence toward the 210 Freeway and running right onto the lanes of the freeway. Some of them also tried hiding under some bushes.
The vehicle fire was first reported about 1:10 p.m. on the southbound freeway at Stoddard Wells Road, according to California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire Protection District logs.
