On Whalers night at Lenovo Center, Mikko Rantanen slipped into a different sweater and turned in his first multi-point game with the Canes.

There were ten games in the National Hockey League yesterday, as it was the first Saturday of hockey since the trade deadline. Several players were therefore playing their first game in their new colors.

The Mikko Rantanen experiment hasn't worked with the Carolina Hurricanes, and he could be on the move again before the trade deadline.
