South Staffordshire Council expressed extreme disappointment at the delay to a planning inquiry schedule to begin in March.

It now operates as a museum run by the National Trust, telling the story of Lavenham's history. You also have to see the famous Crooked House. It’s not hard to see where it gets its name!
