Liberal leadership contender Mark Carney is pulling in more money from more contributors than any of his competitors in the race to replace Prime Minister Justin Trudeau — and it's not even close, according to Elections Canada filings released Tuesday.

OTTAWA — The Opposition Conservatives are calling on Liberal leadership front-runner Mark Carney to disclose his assets and any other potential conflicts of interests before the contest ends in less than three weeks, saying the legislated timeline for him to do so could see him enter the Prime Minister’s Office before releasing any information.

Financial data published by Elections Canada shows Carney raised $1.9 million for his leadership bid, while Liberal House leader Karina Gould raised about $236,000 from more than 600 donors
