RAPPER Drake has filed a new lawsuit against his own record label, accusing them of pushing an “inflammatory and dangerous narrative” by promoting rival Kendrick Lamar’s diss

The Boy previously accused the companies of illegally boosting the popularity of Kendrick Lamar's diss track “Not Like Us.”

Drake has withdrawn his petition against Spotify and Universal Music Group after accusing the entities of launching an illegal “scheme” to boost numbers for Kendrick Lamar’s hit diss track “Not Like Us.

The notice also notes that Drake’s representatives “met and conferred” with the respondents to the legal action in January. Spotify, which filed an opposition to the petition, responded that it had no objection to the withdrawal. Meanwhile, UMG, which had not filed an opposition to the petition, “reserved its position.”

Drake is calling off the legal dogs in pursuit of legal action against Universal Music Group and Spotify over allegedly amplifying Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” streams.

But when Lamar's "Not Like Us" diss track went viral and topped music charts globally, Drake reacted by alleging Spotify and UMG came up with an illegal scheme to boost the song.
