Court documents obtained by WPLG 10 in Miami state that Butler allegedly caused $125,000 in damages from mold issues, damaged drywall and flooring, a broken HVAC system and an unmaintained pool. According to the Miami Herald, Butler allegedly left the 5,398-square-foot home in “complete disrepair.”

Butler would owe double the rent, which would be $130,000 per month, if he stayed past the agreed-to term without the written permission of the landlord. The lawsuit then states Butler left the property in disrepair -- among the issues being mold,

Among the other lease violations: Butler hired his own pool-cleaning people, who neglected their duties, and algae formed and the pumps broke, as per the suit. The five-time NBA All-Star also changed the locks without providing the landlord with a key. The cost of all damages, including mold remediation and new drywall, was $127,282.
