A 4-year-old Lansing-area girl who was believed to be with her parents, despite an order for officers to take the child from their custody, has been found safe. The Clinton County Sheriff's Office, with the support of Michigan State Police,

According to Michigan State Police, deputies with the Clinton County Sheriff's Office were court ordered to remove a 4-year-old girl from her parents because she was allegedly in danger. However, before deputies could do so, the parents fled with the child. Police believe the parents somehow learned that their child was being taken.
