The family of a college student killed in a police raid in 2023 are suing the city of College Station in federal court.

According to the release from Gilde Law Firm, Hopkins was killed by police in the early morning hours of Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2023 when he was awoken by an M84 flash-bang grenade.
