If you were watching the AFC Championship game on CBS over the weekend, then give yourself a pat on the back, because you were part of television history.  The game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills had an average audience of 57.

According to a report by Sports Business Journal editor Austin Karp, the Kansas City Chiefs' playoff matchup against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday was the most-watched AFC Championship Game in NFL history.

Austin Karp of the Sports Business Journal reported Tuesday that the Chiefs’ 32-29 win over the Bills was seen by 57.4 million people on television. A year go, the Chiefs’ 17-10 win over the Ravens set a record with 55.5 million viewers. That number was topped by nearly 2 million viewers on Sunday.
