Former Houston Astros pitcher Billy Wagner, one of the best relief pitchers in the 1990s and 2000s, was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Former Milwaukee Brewers left-handed pitcher CC Sabathia was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame Monday, receiving 86.8% of the vote in his first year on the ballot. Ichiro Suzuki and Billy Wagner were also voted in.

If that vote was given to a player who deserves to stay on the ballot, then why are MLB writers and baseball fans upset that Suzuki wasn't a unanimous choice?
