DETROIT – Todd McLellan didn’t blame one or two players for the Detroit Red Wings’ 6-3 loss Tuesday to the San Jose Sharks. Their worst performance in more than two weeks and first defeat in eight games was on the whole team, for the most part.

That ended the Red Wings' seven-game winning streak that began Dec. 29, halting the progress the Wings (20-19-4) had made in climbing closer to the Eastern Conference playoff picture.
