The Supreme Court on Tuesday revived a challenge by a death row inmate in Oklahoma who claims prosecutors “sex-shamed” her during her trial, referring to her as a “slut puppy” and holding up her thong for the jury.

Brenda Andrew and her boyfriend, James Pavatt, were convicted of the 2001 murder of her husband, Rob Andrew. The Supreme Court just ruled in her favor.

The Supreme Court on Tuesday ordered lower courts to review the case of the only woman on Oklahoma's death row over concerns that prosecutors' discussion of her sexual history rendered her trial unfair in the murder of her estranged husband.
