Outer space is giving stargazers a rare, celestial treat - an icy comet that will take 80,000 years to return – if it survives the trip – in the night sky! Here's how you can view it before it leaves

Comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan–ATLAS) was only discovered in January 2023 and is said to have last been visible from earth 80,000 years ago when the Neanderthals were alive. It’s bright trail has left stargazers in awe across Northumberland as many managed see it with the naked eye on a clear night.
