For the second consecutive year, a major sports venue in Cleveland is getting a new name. Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse has been renamed Rocket Arena to better reflect the umbrella-like positioning for Cleveland Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert’s business ventures.

Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, which hosts the Cavaliers and the AHL Cleveland Monsters, has changed its name. The venue — which also hosts high profile concerts and other events such as the Mid-American Conference basketball tournament — is rebranding as "Rocket Arena."

Rocket was the first of Dan Gilbert's "Family of Companies," and has become one of the most widely known names in housing and finance. With the launch of Rocket.com, the company now offers an all-in-one solution to help people achieve the “American Dream.
