The Batman Forever actress credited Reijn for creating an environment of trust that made shooting the film’s intense scenes bearable. The Hours actress said she doesn’t believe she could have done the role had it been directed by a man. The 57-year-old Hollywood A-Lister continued:

There were times when we were shooting where I was like, ‘I don’t want to orgasm any more,’” the Oscar winner said.

In the film, written and directed by Halina Reijn, Kidman plays the CEO of a tech company who has a very kinky affair with a much younger intern, played by Dickinson. Kidman won the best actress award at the Venice International Film Festival in August for her work in the A24 movie.
