Ironmace doesn't outright say that Nexon is to blame, but it does say the decision was 'based on claims made by opposing parties in an ongoing legal dispute.'

Dark and Darker’s legal issues came to a head back in March 2023 when it was removed from online storefronts for the first time following a DMCA takedown notice from Nexon. Earlier that month, Ironmace was raided by South Korean police based on allegations from Nexon that the game was developed using stolen assets and staff after the leader of a project known as “P3” leaked assets,

"Epic Games has decided to delist Dark and Darker from the Epic Games Store," developer Ironmace writes via a new Discord post. "The decision appears to be based on claims made by opposing parties in an ongoing legal dispute. We are currently working to understand the exact reasoning behind this removal."

New reports indicate that a popular extraction RPG is being delisted from the Epic Games Store, becoming unavailable for the platform's users.

Even after some four years, Ironmace’s legal troubles are still dragging on. In messages to fans on their Discord server and on X, Dark and Darker developer Ironmace announced that the game has been delisted from the Epic Games Storeagain.
