The Rangers are reportedly targeting Elias Pettersson and J.T. Miller, and one of them is a fantastic fit before the NHL Trade Deadline.

The New York Rangers have been nothing but disappointing this year. It was just a season ago that the team secured their fourth franchise President’s Trophy title.

But as the Rangers sit four points back of the final playoff spot with five teams to pass, this recent uptick probably won’t have a dramatic effect on the hierarchy’s plan approaching the March 7 trade deadline.
