Jayson Tatum scored 38 points with 11 rebounds and Kristaps Porzingis had 19 points and 11 boards as the Boston Celtics overcame the return of Zion Williamson to the New Orleans lineup and beat the Pelicans 120-119.

The theory of Zion Williamson is tantalizing. Once described by the great Shea Serrano as "a rhino who learned how to fly," the forward is a rare mixture of speed, power, touch (on his left hand, anyway) and spring-heeled elevation. At his best, Williamson can be the on-court offensive fulcrum and facilitate winning.

Williamson is finally healthy and not under team suspension. But can he prove to the franchise that he is ready, once and for all?

Zion Williamson returned after serving a one-game suspension for violating team policies. Williamson scored 16 points but also recorded seven rebounds and five steals in his return. His activity on the defensive end allowed New Orleans easy transition buckets to keep them within striking distance much of the game.
