John McGinn admits Aston Villa's position at the top of Europe is surreal. The captain scored a second-half opener before Jhon Duran wrapped up a comfortable victory over Bologna at Villa Park on Tuesday.

Captain John McGinn says Villa are targeting a top-eight finish in the Champions League group stage after continuing their perfect start to the competition.

After a third successive Champions League group stage win, McGinn paid tribute to Emery. "No matter what happens until now and whenever he leaves - we hope it's never - he will certainly go down as one of our club's greatest managers," McGinn said.
