Ryan Caldwell, the Eagles fan who verbally assaulted a Green Bay Packers fan during the NFC wild-card game in Philadelphia, has issued an apology. He’s also cautioning those following along that this story is a lot more complicated than they think.

The Philadelphia Eagles fan, who went viral during the playoff game against the Green Bay Packers, is speaking out after he was banned from the stadium and fired from his job as a result of being abusive to a female Packers fan.

In the video shared by Green Bay content creator Alexander Basara, the Eagles fan, a man named Ryan Caldwell, is seen on camera yelling at the female Packers fan named Aly Keller—whom Basara said is his fiancee—calling her an "ugly dumb c---."
