ICE says 118 people were arrested in the busy area of Liberty County on Monday. On Tuesday, the area was a ghost town, showing the impact of this operation.

The development outside of Houston has long drawn the ire of Texas Republicans who claim it’s a haven for undocumented people.

ICE's social media post said those arrested were charged with an array of crimes, including criminal sexual conduct, homicide, theft and drug offenses.
