An infant was killed and the mother injured in a shooting Sunday afternoon in Murfreesboro after a man became angry over loud music, according to authorities. According to the Murfreesboro Police Department (MPD),

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WZTV) — A baby has been shot and killed in Murfreesboro by a gunman who is also dead. The shooting took place at the Chelsea Place Apartments on Bradyville Pike at just after 2:30 p.m. on Sunday. A 1-year-old shot multiple times died, said Murfreesboro Police.
