The announcement of First District Supervisor Andrew Do’s guilty plea reverberated throughout Orange County Tuesday and quickly became fodder for several local candidates in the midst of close election battles.

Orange County Supervisor Andrew Do agrees to step down from his post and plead guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit bribery, federal authorities say.
