As a large family it is difficult to justify spending so much on a day out here however lovely it is. We made use of the £5 each ticket for January and had a lovely time despite the chilly weather. W…Full review by D5167QYlb

We enjoyed a superb Afternoon Tea at Pensthorpe before visiting their wonderful on-site shop. We enjoyed the pre-booked tea so much. I’d visited before at Christmas with a vegan, a vegetarian a…Full review by VineTreee

Hi, Thanks for your question. Most of the park is suitable however in the further reaches of the reserve, given that the setting is natural wetlands and woodland pushing a pram does become challenging. We highlight on our park map the areas suitable for wheelchairs which denote the better areas when pushing a pram. I hope this helps.
I am a member, You did have wheelchairs that the elderly could use. Could you tell me iff they are still available, as we would like to bring my mum to Pensthorpe but she can’t walk very far and has COD.
Thinking of visiting Pensthorpe. Have looked at the web site. Is it possible after admission to go back to the car? Ideally we would bring a picnic but wouldn't want to carry the picnic around with us whilst we explore the park. So could we come, have a walk and then go back to the car, and another walk after the picnic? Alternatively could we eat the picnic in the car park before entering the park? Does the timed ticket arrangement relate to arrival at the car park or admission to the park. As we haven't been before we don't know how this works. Thank you.

Hi there, We have hopefully already answered the question for you on your other post. You are welcome to go back to your car so you can leave the picnic at the car until you are ready for it. The booking time slots are with regard to admission in to the park. So, for example, the time slot 10am-10:45 am gives you a 45 minute window to arrive and enter. You can stay at the park as long as you like. For full details please visit our website. We hope this helps and that you enjoy your visit with us. Jo
Has anyone on here been to Pensthoroe since lockdown ended? I know admission is by pre-booked tickets only. Can you return to your car and then go back into the park, or once in do you have to stay in until you go home? We were thinking of going and would like to have a picnic, but I don’t want to have to carry the picnic stuff around for hours while we explore the park. Ideally we would arrive and park, go for a walk, then go back to the car for our picnic, and then explore the rest of the park after the picnic
