This is still an active place. There are artists at work at this site. I caught some of the prettier ones at work. This place is accessible by bus.Full review by Santanu P

The original Spode manufacturing company closed down in 2009 and Portmeirion subsequently purchased the brand name. Portmeirion continue to manufacture Spode, including some of the old patterns, at their factory in Stoke on Trent. Therefore we recommend you contact their Customer Services Department for advice.
