Pubs visited or written about by James Joyce abound in the area. O’Neill’s of Suffolk Street is featured in portrait of the artist as a young man. Stag’s Head off Wicklow Street- Joyce drank here. Davy Byrne’s on Duke Street is mentioned in Ulysses. Duke- Joyce drank here. The Bailey on Anne Street with the Joy Nearys- Statue of Yeats inside. On Harry Street you will find Bruxelles which is a well know bar steeped in Rock history. Every street off of Grafton has its own unique piece of Irish history.
I will be staying I. Dublin for a Sunday and flying out of Dublin Monday afternoon. Am interested in shopping especially for fabrics... any suggestions on shops and where to stay?

I do not remember seeing any fabric shops in Grafton Street. As for staying in Dublin, I suggest that since you are staying only for a couple of days, then any B. & B. in the City Center …
I do not remember seeing any fabric shops in Grafton Street. As for staying in Dublin, I suggest that since you are staying only for a couple of days, then any B. & B. in the City Center would be perfect as you would be able to shop and be close to the Airport. The right way to find good B. & B. or a reasonable hotel is to check on TripAdvisor web site.
When we were there the shops shut by 6pm. Parking is hard to find as it is very competitive. The shops are busy and i would recommend to get your shopping done during the day. …
